I’m gutted. My trusty e-bike died on the way to work. It’s going to be strange stripping off all the mods after nearly a decade.

The bike was my preferred method of commute and travel around town. If anyone has any suggestions for a good quality e-bike for road use, I’d greatly appreciate it!
I’m doing my own research but firsthand knowledge is always useful.

- Have been having issues finding a stress free way to give the cat his Prozac. He absolutely hates the stuff and has become terrified of dinner time as he knows it is coming. Tried hiding it in all sorts of delicious foods but he avoids it. Inserting directly right out. I got a new STANKY broth which we add crushed pill to soak in for 12 hrs. It worked! Today it worked as well… success sans stress finally!
- Had 2 meals
- I moved staff mentoring to today as Friday will be insane.

Occasionally the memory of a very specific dream I had when I was about 6 pops in to my mind:
I was trying to fly by riding a bicycle and “swimming”. It worked and I got stuck in a tree so got to watch people below do nonsense busy things.
The memory brings with it a glancing comfort with its inherent silliness.
Reminds me that sometimes it is nice to just stop and take a moment for myself as some of the stuff we do is just whack.

I am likely going to decline a $30k pay rise. Which is insane because I barely break even on expenses with my current salary. The offer is shit for the additional duties, responsibilities, and strings attached. New management have messed me and my team around for months now and I’m over it. The only reason I haven’t resigned from this shit show is I am too burnt out to be able to sell myself into work elsewhere now and I can’t afford being out of work. I’m fucked.
