I'm realizing that while I "knew" that about Twitter, the reality of separating myself from the dopamine reward Twitter can sometimes create is going to take some actual work.

I'm trying to rely more on hashtags here but so far I'm feeling like #adhdmastodon is lacking what I sought out #adhdtwitter for. As someone with a late in life diagnosis, the content creation, explainers and memes really helped me understand what having #ADHD and what being #nurodivergent means. All of those producers had some sort of business agenda and this doesn't seem like the place for that (which I greatly appreciate). But I am dreading going to #instagram for this content because then I get served 1000 targeted ads and it has a bad vibe. Maybe it is here and I haven't found it yet or maybe I'm just going to have to live without that, time will tell I guess.
