Now both of us have been living as if covid doesn't exist - quite normally. I'm quite sure that amongst the people that we have been mingling with, like in supermarket queues, doctors waiting rooms, and, so on, the covid virus is prevalent. Yet the majority of people, including us, are unaffected.

A few days ago my wife went to the local clinic for a blood test. Almost immediately afterwards she started developing herpes symptoms. The symptoms developed quite strongly over the next day or two. A day after, I started developing herpes symptoms, again, quite strongly. Then, the symptoms in both of us abated, just as suddenly as they had started. This was definitely not normal. The herpes symptoms normally last days, if not weeks.
