How do people get better at things? Maybe it's just my brain telling me that, but I don't ever seem to. Beyond the simplest things, I really can't improve much. Whether I try to play the guitar, learn card sleights, or even learn a damn fighting game. Full on arrested development. Maybe I'm just at that age. And don't get me started about me and my age...

I feel lonely. Like if everyone's trajectories are different and they get close one second, but then diverge before you know it. Of course, as a champion of self loathing I tend to look for an explanation inwards rather than outwards. Wish that same part of my brain convinced the social part to stop whining.

I thought maybe people here might be able to help me. I've been told that for the new project at work I should start learning #selenium.
What I'd like to know, is if I were change jobs, where does selenium get me? Is there something that pairs well with it that would often be in requirements for positions alongside it? I'm not super versed in the #softwaredevelopment trends and communities, so apologies if it's a dumb question. Just curious how to use it to boost future prospects.
