I was going for low key there, but I think the subject's too bright to qualify. Both my kids are in a pre-professional theatre program at a local theatre school. Yearly headshots are part of it, and this year they went with a different photographer than in past years. And the headshots are awful. The poses are bad, and the editing is horrid.

What's the best way to provide feedback?

I've edited the same shots myself, and in 15 minutes made them way better. Argh.

The Canada Chain and Forge company occupied several buildings on what is now Granville Island in #Vancouver, BC starting from 1923. After the island's conversion from an industrial land to a multi-use artisanal space in the late 1970s, the manufacturer moved off the island and left behind several examples of its work.
