In America, we say that the government derives its power from the consent of the governed.

After that shameful display yesterday of betraying American values, attacking our allies, and emboldening enemies of freedom and liberty, I no longer consent to being led by this man.

He does not even have the interests of the USA in mind. He is a tool of dictators and only cares about enriching himself and making the USA a plaything of oligarchs.

I don't see anything wrong with @kicad getting donations from companies in the military. That money benefits everyone and the fact it happens to come from a military-linked company is irrelevant.

Also, while I think military advertising is more defensible as something problematic, a sponsor listing is hardly "advertising." However, a disclaimer that KiCad does not necessarily endorse the companies listed as sponsors would be a good gesture.
