I love this job. I love this part of this job. I think I'm getting good at it.

Sine die. That's a wrap on the 2023 New Mexico legislative session. I am so damn proud of our team at EMNRD and what we accomplished (three conservation bills! and a bunch of great budget policy!)

We helped an amazing coalition of advocates from agriculture, outdoor rec, hunters & fishers, and conservationists create a permanent conservation fund for New Mexico (SB 9). Steady funding for conservation and land management programs FOREVER.
