The judge did the usual thing, asking us basic info, and if we had any prejudices concerning law enforcement or if we had been victims of criminal activity. Then he asked the question that got me removed from service, "Can you be fair to both sides?" Not surprisingly, he asked why I could not be impartial and if I could not "put aside" my feelings. 1/
