I imagine that multilingual users, esp in Europe where M is based, prefer access to multiple languages, but for those of us limited to one, the complexity of choosing English as the dominant language in all that I see is completely daunting, even with instructions. I do hope the owners can solve this soon. I SO want to jump ship!
Checking out Frendica, the English filter for instances seems also not to work. Also most had no description at all, or extremely brief unhelpful ones.
