The model looks to be up to date, but there's a gap. For example, I asked how are the political representatives for my area and the aggregate results were old (last year), but specific questions were correct (for the new session).

So what we really need is a #gpt based feed aggregator. You give it your OPML and it summarizes new stories as they happen without the need to read 100s of articles.

Maybe it's time to look again at the W3C #micropayments activity, so we have an open, federated alternative to Post and a non-advertising revenue stream for journalists.

I've been reading a bit more deeply about the implementations of #activitypub. First impressions are that (by necessity) it's an OLTP (service) based approach to a data architecture problem. Necessary because it's impossible to specify an interopable standard on a distributed network with a technology dependent Data Architecture solution. That said, I wonder if more work could be done with relays and build on top of S3 table specs like #ApacheIceberg, providing a kind of cheap pub sub model.
