A game that is between two other design styles is simply that. It feels as though folks use the term in the same derogatory manner training wheels and bumper rails gets applied, which can lead to cool games getting delegated as disposable.

Plus as a person playing your #TTRPG I don't want to be left wondering OR I can always just ignore you anyways if I feel a better count would work for me.

Also more games outside the assumed table size. Get weird.

I do think it is important to delineate a difference between those styles and possibly even genres of play/game. I don't think one is superior by any means they're just different and therefore have different appeals.

I will be upset if you promise a #TTRPG and intentionally refuse to engage the mechanics. I have no qualms against playing pretend, certainly don't need an excuse to do it like many others seem to need.

Last night I got together with someone to play Stereo Mixtape by Will Uhl and we didn't directly follow the procedure but hit a similar concept where we shared songs, using them to set scenes and inspire character details.

It is something I'd absolutely do again but looking forward to trying the game (link below) properly next time.

- Say what you do then drink w/o swallowing
- Others take turns describing a ridiculous but related outcome
- If you spittake; said player's outcome occurs. Refill drink.
- Otherwise: Swallow & choose one of the outcomes
- First empty pint decides piss daddy, who describes the end

BONUS
- Eliminate any player who pisses themselves
- Use alcohol (responsibly)

Plasmodics is designed in such a manner that I call "living-world" and it makes me so eager to engage with it.

Having the setting be components applied to a map of your table's choice and having those elements or the city itself be variably active per session via random components, is so damn good.

I hope more designers are taking notes. More plasmods or entirely other games like it, please.
