I spent time yesterday afternoon with Nova Scotia Justice for Workers knocking on doors in Halifax with our petition for a $20 minimum wage, 10 permanent paid sick days, and reforms to labour standards to better protect all workers in the province.

Almost everyone who answered their door signed the petition. Some enthusiastically answered yes when I asked if they wanted to be involved in the campaign.

It really pays to off the internet and having conversations with real, live human beings.
