I can't believe how much better my luck in hsr is compared to genshin

On genshin all my 5 stars have been obtained at like ~80 pity and with exactly 50% win rate on the 50/50

On hsr I decided to save my stellar jades for silver wolf but did one roll on Huo Huo's banner for fun and got Huo Huo though I'm not sure how high my pity was. So then I was feeling nervous about silver wolf cause I only had 37 tickets. Started rolling on the banner and literally my 3rd roll was silver wolf

At least I can focus grinding genshin now for Cyno

Examples: I've always been close with some of my teachers all through school, but I always felt that since I've been told I am very smart I have to do things on my own. This meant that if I was struggling I would consider myself lazy instead of seeking help. Now, I've had a busy couple of weeks and have been stressing about finals. So I just explained the situation to my prof and he gave me a 2 day extension!!!

Also, the website is now blocking us from sending clients phone numbers or websites. The obvious intent is to prevent people from being able to book directly, but it also means that I can't give guests the information for other businesses like bike shops or restaurants and instead have to tell them "here's the name of the thing I recommend, look it up yourself because this platform won't let me give you the direct contact information" which just makes things sound incredibly shady. They even blacklisted the word google so that if I send it, it looks like a bunch of dashes

Like what the heck?! I was very clear during the call that the entire update was a travesty made by someone who obviously doesn't use the website and apparently what they took away was "the update is fine, just let us actually be able to contact customers" like no! I need years on payments since some people book multiple years in advance and the whole thing is ugly and unusable...!

For work, I have to use a website which shall go unnamed, but the website has decided to redo the layout which has completely messed with me. Most of it is silly little things like things that were separated are now together or they moved the pop out screen so that now I have to close and reopen it to do important calculations but they removed the years from payment due dates AND won't give us customers phone numbers??? Like how are we supposed to do bookkeeping or actually contact customers like this?????

I rarely ever order pizza anymore, but every once in a while I want one, so I order from my usual place and the last two times they’ve gotten my order wrong and when I call them to get it fixed, they say they’re super busy like, yeah ok but if you got my order right you wouldn’t have to do double work but I know it’s not fully their fault but ughhhhhhh

Signed up for a beginner Chinese class through my old Uni but no one else signed up so they offered for me to take it as a private tutoring instead!!! Very excited to actually have a teacher now especially since I remember my Japanese level skyrocketed once I actually had a teacher to interact with and push me past my boundaries. Can't wait to see how much progress I'll be able to make in the next 2 months

Thoughts on EP 1 of #frieren

Looking like this is going to be one of those beautifully heart wrenching shows that is going to break my heart into a billion pieces and I'm going to thank it for that
The animation is gorgeous and the character design isn't focusing on the fanservice which is nice since that wouldn't really fit in with the more heavy tone of the show
The exploration of differing life spans is also really neat! I can't wait to see where they go with it

Definitely watching #Frieren only had time to watch 1st EP so far but honestly depending on how the series progresses might get a spot in my top 10 anime

Besides that defintely watching #DrStone New World Part 2. Really excited about that one since it left off on a bit of a cliff hanger.

Also, #heavenofficialsblessing Season 2. Still can't believe that that one's in this season

Finally, #iminlovewiththevillainess I've really liked the otome isekai lately so seeing a yuri one is really exciting!

Like the show just does such a good job of reversing a lot of zombie tropes that actually reveal a lot about the zombie genre in the first place
Like in EPs 6 & 7 we see Akira actually scared for the first time in the show, not at the zombies but at his ex-boss
Of course, the zombies are still dangerous and scary but Akira has found a way to work around them
But then when his ex-boss comes around he's trapped for the first time since the zombie apocalypse started
Plus the final scene in EP 6 just showing him walking besides the zombies in a zombie like state, ah
