So I do the occasional #voice #job on voice123 and it's mostly not too bad. Of course there's some "motivation" to pay for using the platform at every corner, but to just get my feet wet in the industry the basic plan works ok. One thing is scary though: From time to time I receive project invitations for AI-Training projects, e.g. for TTS. And I wonder: Does anyone actually do these? I mean, isn't this obviously sawing off the branch you're sitting on?

The last two years I've been doing mostly #webdev (mostly #Django) for a living. I am also really good at data processing, be it cleaning up messy datasets or actual analysis and visualization. In the same MO I can also automate ugly processes - if it's too messy for you but it eats up a lot of your productive time: I'll churn through it and get it out of your way.

Ich bin ein großer #FOSS Enthusiast. Ich benutze meine Fähigkeiten auch, um meinen Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten. Natürlich nicht alleine, sondern mit meinen wunderbaren Kollektivisti vom @fnordkollektiv . Dabei möchte ich auch einen Beitrag dazu leisten, eine Wirtschaft zu schaffen, die die Bedürfnisse von Menschen über die Maximierung von Profiten stellt 🙂

I like to do podcasts (although I don't have an active one going on at the moment), vocals, you name it. Sometimes I also have to write songs as a precondition to recording vocals. Luckily, I am just good enough at that ;-P
