So I picked up the motor, turned it over, pointed out the exhaust full of snow, said "this wasn't here when it left", cleared it and started it (I had inspected and tested before sending it out).

They still have their job, I've been thrown out of the entire field.

When generating a guess where data don't exist, say it's a guess. Put uncertainties on it.

Avoid trying to label it as a thing that could be taken as a solid truth ("prediction", "synthetic data") by naive readers.

- adding new information as it comes to mind
- clarifying points made earlier
- sharing only relevant screens
- hands not in view

...it is because I'm translating a lot of diverse experience for an unknown audience with unknown expectations on the fly. Not because I'm looking up answers...
