An encyclopedia with an interactive index still doesn't have intelligence in any sense of the word. At best, it replaces a librarian... maybe. A librarian still has real-world experience and intuition.
Not saying these things can't be useful, but they should be called correctly. Otherwise it creates false expectations.

Ugh, why is it that every time I touch JS, I have to read 10 SO pages and install extra tools that should just be part of the default instructions?
Installing Cypress via npm fails, because instead of resolving deps based on my current node version, it assumes the latest and throws up cryptic errors.
Installing the latest node doesn't actually install the latest. Apparently, I need to chase down instructions to install nvm first.
I got so spoiled by Composer in PHP that all else is painful.

When I saw palm trees that are not native to our biome, the scene from Dune popped into my head.

Only maximizing shareholder value. Line must go up every quarter, so the quality, at some point, must go down.
They can get away with almost anything until a competitor comes along, which happens very rarely. It's becoming increasingly unlikely due to just how massive they are. They can buy out suppliers, poach devs to fire them once competitor shuts down, etc.

These regressions are also accelerating. Some products today are just embarrassing.
This is why I would recommend to pretty much ignore advice from these companies. They either have no idea what they're doing, or they're not doing the thing you *think* they're doing, so their advice won't apply anyway.

After explaining the speeds involved and how I'd be turned into plasma, it offered me this tl;dr: "you wouldn't be going to space, you'd be going to the periodic table."
My daughter and I lost it for several minutes. That's some top-quality nerd humor.

Russian ruble was ~75/USD before the full-scale invasion. It crashed to 120, then bounced to 50 due to strict capital controls. Now it’s sliding again, hitting 110 recently. If recession hits this fall, which some analysts believe to be likely, it will get much worse.
