Why? It would help on reducing eWaste, since it could be bundled with a SATA SSD and a install USB for a Linux Distro, so older Laptops with decent performance on basic tasks but have problems with hardware-accelerated video playing and slow wireless networking wouldn't go to a eWaste bin or the trash
