I'm really looking forward to when KDE Plasma 7 eventually rolls out, because looks like we'll be saying good-bye to X11 as Wayland gets some huge new features and improvements like proper HDR support, but will still able to support running X11 for specific applications that depend on it.

GPU's today are much bigger than they were 10 years ago, so much so manufacturers or at least some anyway having to build release mechanisms...

GPU's today are much bigger than they were 10 years ago, so much so manufacturers or at least some anyway having to build release mechanisms off to the side for the release latch to eject GPU's from their slots, because the size of the GPU's and their heatsinks are too big that on most modern motherboards covers over the release latch making very difficult or outright impossible to release the GPU from their slots.

Does make me wonder if GPU's really need that big of a heat sink in the first place and still perform efficiently, shrink down the size of the GPU's heatsink by 75% or something. There are option to water cool GPU's that outright replaces the massive heatsink with something much smaller and compact but that gets more complicated and difficult to put all that together and making sure it doesn't leak.
