Just had a major malfunction on my desktop setup - the #Dell monitor wouldn't switch on! Broken power switch on the monitor.
Managed to dismantle the beast enough to get to the switch pcb and the actual switch was fine, just a little hinged plastic actuator was broken. No easy fix, so managed to get the monitor switched on and it will now be controlled by switching off at the mains socket instead. A bit of a faff, but its still a good monitor!
