In the last week, my #university has announced discontinuation of 2 #edTech #apps that we've had for 5 -> 10 years. Both #crappy but appealed to #administrators (#surveillance, #coolth?). Both required #faculty and #staff to invest large amounts of time and data, all of which has been monetized by the vendors. Both are/were $$$$.

you know they'll buy new crappy apps, get us to invest all our hours and data, more now b/c of crappy #data #migration. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
