Every other time I log on here I see a post about how people who use Twitter are bad people promoting fascism but I'm gonna be honest I see way more posts talking about Palestine & genocide on Twitter and even Bluesky (tiny as it is) than on here.

And I get way more engagement on those posts on Twitter, DESPITE the algorithm suppressing those posts, even though when I post about disability rights for Westerners I get more engagement on here.

So maybe there's a reason people are still using tools like Twitter, as imperfect as they are, and maybe Mastodon isn't the morally superior environment you'd like it to be.
