Updated my Intel based work #MacOS to #sequoia 15.3.2 and more than half of the #amethyst tiling window manager keys no longer work.

Will need to look into this later. No recent GitHub issues, yet.

It's not a very hard board, thus "challenge" is a loose definition.

Yet another #android app surprise today, as I discovered #Bouncer Temporary Permissions hasn't worked in several months due to API changes in Android 14 now only granted to reader apps. ☹️

I had used the app for years - if an app required a permission, say Camera access, you could set that in the app permissions, then use Bouncer to forceably remove it when the app closes.

Android since has gotten a "while in use" permission class, but I'm not sure what that means given apps can stay resident.

They had dropped newsprint editions at local bike stores, which is where I found it years ago. It was a nice cover of the local scene and open group rides and charity rides.

Hoping the newsletter keeps the quality high.

Just back from blood donation (platelets) number 218. 2 units went into the bags from the centrifuge at #stanfordbloodcenter The bags went to the labs, and into a human in a day or two.

Interestingly, I haven't been asked for a triple donation recently - it's been quarters at least. Possibly age related, or their staffing level. They were short some snacks, although I was there end of the day.
