Just got pinged by some coppers for jaywalking in the CBD.

I was crossing a narrow laneway at the lights, I checked nothing was coming. Yeah, against the rules, but was safe, impeding no-one, and also no kids around so not being a bad influence.

Fortunately I was able to play the dazed corporate type on my way back from lunch and pretend I didn't notice. Which I was, I was too dazed to notice the coppers until too late.
