To make the world a better place for everyone (and with that I mean all life forms), I'm convinced we need our imagination. Forget dystopian literature, give me utopias.
Any recommendations? I #amreading Island by Aldous Huxley at the moment, which is interesting but also a bit dated. Ursula Le Guin's Always Coming Home is next on my list.
Let's try this again. Maybe I'll have something to say this time.
Personal update: I quit my job and am taking time off to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. Nothing has come to me yet except the one thing that has stuck with me my whole life: write a book. So I'm writing one. Again. Going to try to add to the utopian (sub)genre because I think the world can certainly use some.
