Note - the Translate with Google and OK buttons were off the bottom of the screen (even though they show on the screenshot).

Bought a quest 3 with Son. Really impressed actually. Much better than the original quest (last one I used). Is it better than Vision Pro?...

Actually I would say yes.
It's comfortable to wear (once you buy a 3rd party strap with was reasonable price & has external battery). Passthrough isn't quite as good but still pretty good.

Controllers 100% beat hand controls (but you can also use them too if you want).

So much better value at this point t in time too!

Haven't posted for a while but been really diving into #SwiftUI with a number of personal projects and work ones and it's come on a long way. Still a little work needed but it's now more fun to work with rather than frustrating. Plus have really noticed that previews now work more than they don't (although tiny code errors still produce inscrutable and really hard to find compile errors!)

Just got new glasses - varifocals. Seeing is interesting right now - in a much more blurry way! Trying to get the sweet spot is….....

Been having so much fun with the BambuLabs X1C. Its fast, pretty much prints no problem, no issues with calibration.bed levelling, etc, and the quality is just excellent. Printed great so far with PLA, ABS, PET and TPU no faffing around!

First 3D printer I’ve had where I haven't had to do anything to fiddle and fix things to get good prints - well, except re-spool a load of filament because I forgot to re-connect the AMS tube and sent a print (oops!)

So just got a Bambulabs X1C - upgrading from MK3S. So far - really impressed with it. Printing from app was trivial and came out really well...

So just got a Bambulabs X1C - upgrading from MK3S. So far - really impressed with it. Printing from app was trivial and came out really well and fast!

All prints so far have been great

Only downside - it's a little noisier than MK3S - not unbearable though - and rocks my IKEA table like no tomorrow. Suspect I'll need to change that soon!
