Some kids are entertaining themselves by ringing my doorbell and running off.
I can’t even be mad, I just wish I could be entertained endlessly by small things like this. It’s quite funny hearing their giggles as they run off to another alleyway.

Kamala Harris is partly to blame for running a weak campaign in an attempt to win over the supposedly large number of “moderate” Republicans, but the campaign seriously overestimated the number of these people.
But most of the blame, in my view, lies with the Democratic Party machinery: they shot themselves in the foot by boosting Biden, shutting down all concerns and criticisms of his state of mind. But when it finally became undeniable, they dumped Harris in the impossible position of running a strong campaign on the fly.
While Harris chose well when picking Tim Walz to be on the ticket, it’s clear the party machinery was not going to let her run a substantial campaign on working-class issues, but rather a Clinton-style campaign focused exclusively on a shallow form of identity politics. No wonder it failed again.
Now the political hacks running the campaign will scapegoat some minorities, or scapegoat the Left, and then join American cable news networks as “political commentators” for the next four years. The cycle continues…
