#origami #chameleon I folded after a frustrating meeting to regain sanity points.
I was amazed by how 3-dimensional the little creature is.
Done following the instructions of #JoNakashima here: https://youtu.be/if7iSuzNn38
Would love to revisit this one with better paper and under less time constraints.
Status update for #The100DayProject
6/17 rows are completed.
So I guess I'm 35% there.
Since this is day 30 (?), then that's good. I will need some time to crochet the edges and block the whole thing, so extra progress is good.
Here is an indifferent Pixie-cat ignoring the piece overlapping her.
So, three days of patches for my #The100DayProject
Some mystery black acrylic yarn, and marled blue and white Novita palma.
I knew this day would come!
I'm having trouble finding yarn I haven't already used, so I went a bit wild and started combining ones I've used before.
Mystery green yarn, filati fantasia Gienn fashion in two different tones, and Stylecraft amoré. I especially enjoy how the amoré combines with the Gienn to give a blossoming mossy look.
#knitting #yarn
Pretty tired this weekend, but I've managed my four squares as needed for my #The100DayProject. :)
Three of them are with the same #yarn though, sorry! (Probably a leftover lopi wool)
The red-purple blend is teetee alpakka. Soft and lovely. I started doing it with a very thin needle, but soon realized I didn't have the energy for it this weekend, and then combined both balls of yarn into a thicker knit. This is why it shifts from purple to red, depending on which one is on top.
#knitting
#The100DayProject some #knitting from yesterday and today.
A float rib stitch in a mystery acrylic #yarn.
Some Noro ito. I'm working on another project with it, but wanted to preserve a small piece in my blanket.
A woven cable knit stitch, with what I think is leftovers of a lopi yarn. I think it's either been caught in a vacuum cleaner or shredded by a cat, because the yarn kept snapping off.
A lacey pattern in what I think might be sandnes silk mohair.
3 days' worth of #knitting
Sampler patches for my #The100DayProject blanket.
From top down, left to right:
A gradient blue-beige Novita Kajastus and grey Gedifra Shetland deluxe. I knitted a mini cable pattern for the first time ever from it.
A mystery red #yarn and black Sandnes mohair silk.
Two mystery braided cords, which are technically not yarn, in wine red and grayish blue.
A #sketch of the Arch cave I made once upon a time, in the happier year of 2017, being held up in front of the actual real life subject by a helpful volunteer.
This bridge formed as a result of a cave collapsing. Only part of the cave survived and now looks like a bridge.
It's a quick drawing made with a travel #inktense paint pan, and a black pen.
Geology is cool.
5 squares. 3 yesterday, 2 today.
1. An experiment with Järbo Fantasi in a gradient blue & Novita Kajastus in a brown, beige blue gradient.
2. A light blue mystery yarn, possibly ístex lopi.
3.A mossy green-brown earthy wool from Pirtin Kehräämö. I enjoyed this one so much I started to make wristwarmers from it.
3. Two patches from the same Järbo Fantasi ball, but this time in tones of green, orange, teal, and purple (not visible). I did one in seed stitch.

By the way, here's where I'm at so far.
#The100DayProject #knitting
Fluffy #knitting samplers in my Chaos #The100DayProject !
There's another Red Heart Calista now in beige, and two extremely soft Novita Palma squares. The Palma #yarn was so soft that my husband wanted snuggle the yarn and patch while I knitted.
I started working on a little experiment with 2 yarns that I will hopefully be able to show off tomorrow. I'm not generally a big fan of these acrylic and polyamide yarns, so I'm happy to knit with real wool tomorrow.
#The100DayProject of #knitting my #yarn swatch blanket continues.
The black is a mystery yarn from before.
Top right is Schoppel-Wolle Reggae Ombré. You can't see the ombré effect here but it's also pink, purple, and deep green.
Bottom left is super fluffy Red Heart Calista. I don't even know which direction it goes in or was knitted in - it's so fluffy.
Bottom right is Rico Creative Galaxy Chunky, so called because it has black sequins that sparkle within it.
Maybe it's day 17? I don't know! I don't really care! I'm going to keep knitting anyway...
11.3.2025 14:05Maybe it's day 17? I don't know! I don't really care! I'm going to keep knitting anyway...Apparently this is day 16 of #The100DayProject ?
Here's colorful mystery #yarn from yesterday and a fluffy grey Alize Furlana today!
I'm going to have a challenge next month. I'm meant to travel and don't want to take much with me. Maybe I will take a couple balls of yarn and 1 set of needles and knit different patterns with the same yarn? But if I want to incorporate them into my chaos blanket, I should maybe start to leave random gaps for them to fit in later? What say you?

More knitted patches from the past 3 days.
Lots of mystery yarn!
Black, soft yarn which pulls apart easily, thick, grey yarn which smells of lanolin, a variegated greenish beige acrylic I once made a scarf from, and two which are no mystery at all: a beautiful Noro Kirara, and a fun Noro Yuzen.
I also knitted a dish rag from stinging nettle yarn, but I didn't make it onto a patch for my #The100DayProject because it is too scratchy in a blanket.
#knitting #yarn
It's getting pretty random here with my knitted swatch blanket. Two patches (pink and grayish blue) from the new wool #yarn Karisma by Drops, and a dark blue patch from a mystery yarn, and a brighter blue one with different tones of blue in a cotton Novita Elegia.
This is yesterday and today together.

Yesterday's and today's patches for my #The100DayProject blanket
The thin thread is Symfonie Knitpro. I used it in a pair of socks. I very much enjoyed this yarn.
The chunky thread is Hjertegarn Milano, maybe bought in Åre, so I turned the rest of that ball into an Åre hat today. It's nice and soft and muffles my migraine.
Today's #yarn is a complete mystery, but I have a very fuzzy memory of being taught to knit with purple yarn, so I wonder if that's what the purple leftovers are from?

Hope you aren't too exhausted of these yet. I could maybe designate myself a hashtag so you can filter it away if you like?
These two #knitting swatches are with mystery #yarn.
I think the spring green one is hand-spun wool and the only thing I know about it is it apparently cost 9€ and came in a skein.
The weird camo one has been with me a long time. I used it for another project once to knit a scarf for a troll, but I know nothing else.
Today's patches for my #The100DayProject are #Noro ito. Only a small range of the colors in the #yarn are seen. The yarn is in the photo to show you what we're missing out on due to the small tiny 10 x 10 cm size.
I always dreamt of using noro yarn, but it was always outside of my budget until my favorite yarn shop had a closing down sale.
My future #knitting plan for this yarn is to make a "nightshift" shawl (designed by Andrea Mowry)
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/nightshift
Today is #Kalevala day.
As such, I thought it would share my Kalevala-themed #linocut prints from 2020.
There's the swan of Tuonela, who swims on the black river, which is the gateway to the world of the dead.
There's Otso, the bear king of the forest.
And there's Ikiturso, a mythological sea monster.

I felt like #knitting 3 patches today.
The new patches are on the right.
From top to bottom: Sandnes Alfa, Stylecraft amore, Sandnes palett
These patches get to go on the second row of my #The100DayProject patchwork blanket.
The amore #yarn was bought once upon a time in Northern England and was used to cover a book with a mossy surface.
You can't tell, but the palett also goes into shades of purple and green as well.
I will really have to make something from the palett someday!
