remarkable how aggravating the Windows experience has become. I stopped using it after XP, which I loved at the time, and now whenever I am in the unfortunate position of having to use a work laptop I find myself fighting this lunatic software, seeing this brand new Lenovo machine chugging for its life as it tries to open all the background garbage. Just spent ten minutes trying to get to a document in Teams - "oops, app failed to init!" thanks for that helpful error message! Now on to logging in to the word processor, which is obviously necessary and will surely go swimmingly.

I'll say that among all the terrible things on the Internet, with all the megacorps doing their utmost to ruin everything for everyone, it's pretty remarkable that YouTube has not (to my knowledge) had any purges of old videos. With all the space they take up, you'd think they'd clear duplicates or random nonsense or whatever's taking up costly server space, but they have not. It's quite amazing that I'm archiving some stuff to keep my ancient, long-abandoned blog intact and I can just click a seventeen-year-old YouTube link and the video pops up, comments and all.
