Nonetheless, I think it is an accomplishment that people can finally decide, whether they want to be locked in or free, at least, and still interoperate, I hope. Previously, Facebook would take away your friend circle, if you didn't submit. And it's still kind of like that. At least as long as people don't understand, what is the problem with Meta and are unwilling to even install a second app or use a second site.
