some years ago, in the midst of a severe depressive episode (one i am still currently experiencing the vestiges of), while moving my things from my depression-pit apartment, i left behind two things that i still regret to this day.

one was a bigass 12-inch combo amp that i got as a gift. it had four inputs! it was so useful. i could be using it! right now! at the time i thought it was too much to deal with, but we could have made room. we could have come back for it. i just left it there...

the other was a two manual, 122 key Hammond electromechanical (tone-wheel) organ. i got it for like 60 bux at a goodwill. it was nothing extremely special like a C3*, no, but it was special to /me/. i ///love/// all organs. tone-wheel, pipe, FM - whatever! they're all lovely to me. and this one was especially lovely.

and i just left it there.

in the case of the organ, it WAS too much. it would have cost 400+ to move, and then there would be no space for it in this house. i didn't have the money, anyways.

there was the option also of sawing it in half, but i would have just ruined a perfectly good piece of art doing that. not because it would be bad to chop it, but that i would chop it horribly. it was solid wood, and it would have taken ages with a normal hand saw.

anyways, i still regret it terribly. i don't know when i'll ever own an organ again.

the fuck?? are they denying the existence of intersex people? i know this whole EO is an attack on trans and other GNC people, yes, intersex people included, but intersex people are not even using 'gender ideology' to designate themselves as such. they are /physically/ intersex (correct me if i'm wrong!). the fuck?

the rest of the rescinded guidance documents are mostly to do with trans/GNC people and creating space inclusive to them. so, yay. what a fucking nightmare.
