Finally figured out why the one temperature sensor was “fuzzy” — it fell flat on top of the freezer and the consistent temperature change was caused by the condenser cycling. Moved it and the readings returned to normal.

Does anyone know of a program/script that can take a USB PTZ camera (Obsbit mini) and give me something any ONVIF-aware app can control? I can issue the PTZ stuff via v4l2-ctl and have ffmpeg and mediatrx doing the streaming, but am hoping not to have to write something myself to make it a little more … elegant.

It’s *comfortable* to read without my glasses, but I can only see clearly without them for about 18”. With them on, I can only focus from about 18” to infinity.

Cleaning out the garage and found an example of my veroboard point to point wiring before I discovered bare wire and PTFE tubing. Stripping solid copper wire scavenged from CAT3/CAT5 was frustrating. Bare wire and tubing eliminates a lot of frustration.
