I get that the difficulty of the monsters will be higher but the story scope is what I'm missing. I know the stakes need to go from local to global (and then beyond). Any advice?

Generally I'm in favor of the policy against quote toots BUT what I don't like is that it creates a much less personal experience.

What happens is that your follows have to rely exclusively on boosting. You can't get the subject filtered through their personality, or hear their additional thoughts attached to the boost. It makes the feed feel very unfamiliar overall, and it's why I frequently turn off boosts from people.
