Please, for the love of god, call your congressm… I mean, email your mailing lists, tell these devs that they are not as smart as they think they are. systemd was a mistake, and they should know. Ask any sysadmin who runs a HPC cluster.

Here are more things to be careful about, in case you missed my prev messages:

- PulseAudio / Pipewire
- Gnome
- GTK4
- Wayland
- dbus
- NetworkManager
- A messaging system that’s not federated
- Linux-specific software (e.g. Docker)

I know this not because I am smart, but because others don’t think critically.

I'm gonna be honest with you: I hate that ZFS is available on Linux so easily these days.

The folks at illumos, FreeBSD, etc, work for years and years to make cool technologies like ZFS and DTrace available everywhere, while Linux folks never make such an effort.

Want to install a software? well you have to use this specific containerization technology which relies kernel internals.

Want a graphical system? well it relies on an init system that's built specifically for this OS.

Friends… do any of you know an OPML editor that’s available on major operating systems (I'm interested in Unix-like systems, Linux, FreeBSD, macOS) or at least multiple OPML editors which work together nicely?

I have been using Zavala, OmniOutliner and Electric Drummer, but I need something for traditional Unix-like systems as well.
