Whoever has Orbital Superiority will be able to project power using unmanned drone carriers and swarms of drones that will be able to quickly disable any defenses. Match that with a top notch Cyber-warfare force, and it's game over. Once you have orbital superiority, then you get naval superiority, then it's over.

I predict that the first national or corporate entity that is able to establish Orbital superiority and the ability to manufacture drones and drone ships and robots will conquer the world.

It seems obvious that Elon Musk will have this capability with robotics, GigaFactories, SpaceX and Starlink. All he needs is a CyberWarfare force. Is he getting that through his access to the US Government or is he going to get it from one of his other "companies"?

Either way, it seems like he is 10 years away from being Global Emperor, and then Solar System Emperor.

The best outcome is high effort matched with high pay. Employers do not do enough to identify the high effort workers and make sure they are getting the high end of salary and bonuses. Employers do that thing where they give crumbs to the contributors and the managers keep the rewards for themselves. This hurts the company in the long run.

An **Attack Surface** is the sum of all potential points or "attack vectors" that an attacker can try to exploit a network or system. That attack surface is getting bigger all the time. There are so many attack vectors, that it's getting difficult to keep track. There are the standard network edge firewalls, which have been vulnerable at the exposed SSL Remote Access VPN Internet facing https ports. There are the phishing and social engineering attempts to gain access, bypassing all the edge security systems. More frequently there are cloud-based systems that can be exploited in novel ways. A company only has to make one mistake. They accidentally leave credentials in a git repo, or they leave an exposed port, or they have a web service that has unpatched vulnerabilities, or they have an unprotected database, and on and on.

One mistake by the **Blue Team** and there are problems. Even if there are no mistakes and you have perfect security, it's only until the next vulnerability, the next zero day, and even without that, a DDOS attack can take everything down.

To add to the sad situation, the government seems to be adding to the amount of attacks. Hackers have infiltrated government, determined to bring it down and remove any kind of regulatory shields that have helped in cybersecurity. There are former members of the Hacker Group **The Com** that are now in key government oversight positions. This does not help reduce that attack surface one bit.

We'll see what happens I guess. Crazy shit is going down. Good luck out there.
