Starmer saying that #JustStopOil protesters should "get up and go home," and citing carbon capture as a better outlet for scientists' talents, is disingenuous and unhelpful.

Labour's willingness to ape Tory policies and appeal solely (it seems) on the basis that they're a better group of people is in a way scarier than the Tories' out-and-out authoritarianism. It will just walk us gently backward into the apocalypse instead of striding boldly.
