Hilariously though, I ran it through the W3C Markup Validator, and it's fancy HTML 4.01 has 25 errors and 20 warnings 🤣​

Just thinking about when web pages had all of the information they wanted to display on a single page and game walkthroughs were giant text files.

In order to get more views across more pages, so they could get more ad impressions, things started getting split into multiple pages. Sometimes as many pages as possible.

It was actually nicer when pages had all of the information for a single topic on one page, and you could just click something in a table of contents or just ctrl-f to find what you needed.

Advertising ruined us.

I found the "Text Mode" button. It uses JavaScript to replace the page with text. You still cannot download the text file. You can't even bookmark the text version.

You can copy and paste it into a text file yourself, but hitting ctrl+s will download the html that displays the text.
