@cstross Yo, I'm reading through Accelerando since the first time in almost a decade, feels like. Every page baffles me with how pinpoint accurate you were about our current future... I have a question about storyline : at the beginning Manfred meets Annette again, 5 years after his marriage. She says "It's been 3 years since Amsterdam" and it got me very puzzled, did I miss something or was it just a mistake that slipped past editing? (love your work, always!!! I'm a huge fan)

Linux users just have to build regularly (configure, make, make install) and then run make flatpaks, the AlephOne makefile has it all setup

@bookstodon Just finished Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary and I think I'll never forget that book. Amazing story, very rich in teachings of science and feelings all the same. The end is beautiful and you don't see it coming, it's a lovely and very well written book! 10/10 recommended. And if you don't like the hero's personality at first, all I can say is: hang on. It gets better. You'll like the fucker. Great read!

Yesterday I finished reading Casino Royale, a classic and the first Bond story. He was quite the romantic for someone so... himself. Flemming managed to make Baccarat interesting as hell, and captivating to follow - even if I don't get why people would bet such amount of money on pure luck (this ain't poker). The movie captures the book well and modernizes it a lot, but kept its soul. @bookstodon
