After seeing the "#NPR leaving Twitter" news, a lot of people have been calling and hoping to possibly see NPR join #Mastodon

But we can't get NPR's attention this way, maybe it's time for somebody to create a petition at....change.org maybe? This can genuinely help pass over the message to a huge organization like NPR, as petitions with enough support can get coverage from the media and possibly a response to whom we petition.

It's time for someone to do this.

Has Elon Musk forgotten something? I think both Tesla and SpaceX, have also received government funding right?? Why don't they have the same exact label NPR is getting? The percentage of such funding gone to NPR is also very very low afaik, about 1%

Again, more and more reasons are stacking up everyday for users to join #Mastodon.

None of this label, twitter blue, ads and other bullshit is here on Mastodon. It's sad to see the #birdsite being ruined by Elon.

A lot of people are boosting posts which is fantastic! But at the same time, people no longer seem to use the "favorite" button as they did back on Twitter, which makes a lot of posts look empty and we are not making use of the ⭐ properly!

The star/favorite button basically has the same function as the like button from Twitter.

Time for us to use the favorite button just as much as boosting posts!

Man, when you go to press that "deactivate" button, it feels like you are about to end your relationship with the person who cheated on you (and the one you once loved)

But after spending time here, I wish I quit Twitter 100% sooner.

Thanks to @tooot I was able to completely move from Twitter to Mastodon on Android today, excellent user-friendly interface that is very very nice. In short words, tooot is the tweetbot of Mastodon, atleast to me on Android.
