So I am very new to Mastodon, just been here a few days. I love this entire idea of a decentralized protocol that makes non-corporate apps scalable und, erm, billionaire-proof to some extent.

I have spent a bit more time on Bluesky and I have to say I love it. Obviously it has also grown to a size where it might start to matter, now that all Big Tech social media is right-wing aligned.

But I am quite worried that this whole AT-vs-ActivityPub protocol war. Curious what ides we have to avoid it
