Aside from feeling guilty about probably spreading it to a few people at Anime Boston, I got pretty lucky in terms of symptoms. Congestion, some sneezes, sore throat, a little fatigue. I mistook the symptoms for being those of a cold. I probably should’ve worn a mask. I felt like I was never gonna get it, like I was both boosted and built different.

I started one at the advice of a health coach. And doing that, in fact, is far more therapeutic. I spend more time sitting with my thoughts and working them out more honestly, with no fear of judgment and no reservations. I need to make it more of a daily habit but I absolutely recommend it.

It took me a bit to find my bearings, since things had changed slightly and it had been a long time. But I had a fulfilling hour and change before I hit the showers. I was too sore from the weights and the place seemed nearly full so I decided not to go back in today. Baby steps. Tomorrow, for sure. I have to make this a real habit. Maybe the crowds will lighten when it turns February or March.

Maybe it would be better if they combined some of the categories that differentiate between drama and musical/comedy. Not the two motion picture categories since those allow a broader range of movies to be spotlighted but maybe the lead actor/actress categories.
