Pain is a signal. We can train the brain to interpret signals.

Part of my work in retraining the shoulder pain interpretation has been walking in the pool.

I am increasing my range of motion by using totally passive joint movement in the water. Floating the joint in water, noticing the increase in ROM and monitoring pain levels.

Bonus is that I am getting stronger, as there is resistance in the water walking. I have now increased the range of motion in my shoulders by about 40%. <3
