In both sets of reviews, Rs wrote sentences like, "my enthusiasm was tempted by several concerns" or "several factors hampered my excitement about the authors' questions"

Rs job is literally to critique. How does doing this job ruin your excitement? Do you only get excited when you read perfect papers? On 1st rounds? Do those exist?

If the RQ is SO exciting, why not be excited about having the opp to be constructive, encouraging & fucking kind??

1. Chill. Like, srsly.
2. People are taking their time to re-learn & figure out a new platform (that has *many* random rules) and that's OK. They can take how long they want.
3. Public Social media does NOT require everyone to post & engage. It means some ppl just watch. Have a problem with that? See 1. Or leave.
