Having watched Trump at the top, with right wing media all in, created this strange, perverse "why not me too" alternate reality where misfits, criminals, charlatans and grifters suddenly saw an opening for power and glory for their ilk. They flocked to Washington for strange jobs and appointments in the administration, and they felt empowered to run for office, at any level, sometimes simply as a perceived shield against prosecutions. It actually kinda worked so far.

Can someone smart please figure out a solution to the piecemeal news sites subscriptions already? TV and cable figured out a scheme long ago, so we don't have to subscribe and pay for individual channels (although that is breaking up a bit with streaming channels). I would gladly subscribe to a master account that gives me access to all the major publishers, but I really don't want to give up my first-born every time I want to read an article. It makes no sense.There has to be a better way.

I must say, after many months of hearing, almost nightly, of Trump's devastating Court losses du-jour, and pundits gushing over his ever-increasing legal jeopardy, it suddenly occurred to me that I've never known or heard of any human who, after so many crushing Court losses, is still walking around, inciting violence, sowing divisions, playing golf and dining with people hell-bent on burning this country to the ground.
Our legal system seems a bit suicidal.

What's the deal with the TSA-Pre card? Back when it started, walking up to a Pre security checkup was a delight - no line, shoes & belts stay on, toiletries don't go in the trash, totally worth it.
No more. Returning home from Denver yesterday, the whole world seemed to be standing in the TSA-Pre line, which barely moved, with obviously infrequent travelers voluntarily stripping and unpacking their bags, and the whole exercise suddenly seemed pointless. Renewal is coming up. Should we bother?
