Masquerade Intermission Entertainment: Star Trek Magic by Dr Willie Yee

Dr. Yee started in magic late in life. His first teacher was Terry Morgan of Catskill NY, with a lineage that traces back to Harry Houdini. He subsequently trained at the world-renowned McBride Magic and Mystery School in Las Vegas. Dr. Yee has performed as a Star Trek character “S’kai” at numerous science fiction conventions, and science educational events.

Nathaniel Johnstone is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter who sings about humanity, myth and whimsy. His unique sound is inspired by metal, jazz, punk, folk, rock, and blues from all over the world. Performing with his partner/collaborator Laura Tempest Zakroff (dancer and artist), and band: Maddie Cardoza (vocals, keys, sax), Anna Sparrowhawk (vocals, guitar), Heather Caunt-Nulton (vocals, sax), Jackie Anderson (vocals), Mike Anderson (bass), Kris Anderson (drums).

Hotel Guests be advised: the room doors have sound proofing along the bottoms which makes it sometimes tricky to close. Please firmly close and if possible latch the doors from the insides. You may have to lean it to latch it.

The hotel knows this issue and they will pull doors shut if they see them ajar. They alert the front desk know when they do this and what room, so if you hear your door close, that might be what happened and you can check with the front desk to make sure.
