We are keen to fund conservation projects for soil biota (special focus), but any project on invertebrate conservation is welcome. The focus of the fund is on conservation action. Die Art ist immer noch der Liebling der Gartencenter, ist aber für unsere heimischen Insekten weitgehend unnütz, da die Blätter für nahezu alle heimischen Insekten ungenießbar sind. Wenn ihr also euren Garten mit einer Hecke umgeben wollt, dann nutzt lieber Hainbuche, Rotbuche, Gewöhnlichen Liguster oder Weißdorn.
