Selbst Künstler welche KI-generierte Grafiken hassen und von dem Verkauf von Kommissionen leben, verstehen oft nicht dass auch im Internet öffentliche Daten dem Copyright unterliegen / nicht beliebig ohne Lizenz verwendet werden dürfen und es nicht legal ist, Zeugs von anderen an dritte beliebig weiter zu geben.

Zu erklären was GDPR/DSGVO ist und warum es das braucht wird dann nach ein paar Wochen wieder komplett vergessen.

Es ist immer wieder frustrierend zu sehen, wie völlig egal vielen Menschen das Thema Datenschutz ist. Ebenso ist es frustrierend wie diese...

Es ist immer wieder frustrierend zu sehen, wie völlig egal vielen Menschen das Thema Datenschutz ist. Ebenso ist es frustrierend wie diese mit völligem Unwissen oder Falschwissen um sich werfen, wenn man denen sagt wie doof es ist, einfach seine personenbezogenen / sozialen Daten an irgend welche dubiosen kostenfreien Tools mit KI-Trainingsmodell-Anbindung zu füttern, nur weil das Ergebnis ein paar Minuten Unterhaltung bietet.

@ordnung fyi, irgend etwas scheint auf chaos.social bei der Verarbeitung von Events / Notifications wieder kaputt zu sein. Notifications landen zwar per Push bei den Clients, aber nicht im Notifications Tab, selbes Problem auch direkt im Mastodon Web-Client.

However, trust me, filtering out various US politics buzzwords as well as tech bullshit buzzwords makes the timeline be very nice again.

The last event on PonyStream ended like an hour ago and all the infrastructure is now deleted. Yes, all of it, including the loadbalancer, radio-relays, messaging infrastructure and so on.
The loadbalancer had an uptime of 99.999% over the past 4 years - now its finally down. Permanently. This was the last event on my infrastructure.
Hope you all enjoyed the more than 140 community online events the past 4.5 years.
