FYI - my primary Mastodon handle is @bbatsov@hachyderm.io
I'll see if I can merge my multiple accounts down the road, or I'll just kill the ones I no longer use.

We're a long way from any releases, given that even Emacs 29 is not completed yet (and is a hard requirement for the new mode), but I'm optimistic that in a few years clojure-ts-mode will replace the current clojure-mode and make you love Emacs even more!

Our first release in 4 months is packed with cool improvements (see https://github.com/clojure-emacs/cider/releases/tag/v1.6.0) and is dedicated to my favorite city in South America and all my Argentinian friends!

P.S. We're still aiming to do one more release before the end of the year to celebrate the upcoming release of #Ruby 3.2.

(e.g. on Fosstodon you write only about FOSS) That's part of the reason why I have accounts on several instances, but it certainly adds a bit of overhead when using Mastodon.

Most server admins these days (especially those with popular instances) are complaining that their server bills went through the roof (not to mention the efforts related to moderation) and experience has taught me that relying on donations rarely works out. That's going to be a big challenge to overcome.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Ukrainian music. It's 2 in 1 for me - great music plus a bit of practice to learn Ukrainian better.
These days I'm obsessed with "Hvili" by Kalush & Jerry Heil. Check it out!

I'll certainly need a bit of time to get the hang of it, but it feels nice to be using a FOSS microblogging platform for a change and to live in a world without ads, engagement boosting, etc.
I was also pleasantly surprised that a few people who I know started to follow me here before I could figure out how to use the UI. 😀
