Another day headed into the #diy marathon. Floor completed. Skirting boards to fit. Three more kitchen units to fit, then cover panels and whatever the f we're doing to hide the washer and dryer, oh and another sink to fit. Tiling backsplashes after that. Then most likely a lick of paint to spruce it all up.

When that's all done it'll be time to relax, and by relax I mean start the bathroom by knocking down a wall...

Zone 2 10k yesterday gives me just 109 miles to do between now and the end of December. Nothing quite like leaving 1/5 of your target distance for the year to a single month!

Still an active December will be great for those events in the new year.

So far next year it's #fandance for the third time, #spartan race season pass (three weekend trifectas is the aim) and a #toughmudder and / or #wolfrun for fun.

Good progress this week on our DIY marathon. Underfloor heating is tested and working and the kitchen is going in ok, thanks to those clever folk at IKEA. Many more hours with the angle grinder needed to finish the stone floor, but it's all starting to pull together.
