In the 1980s, I earned an AAS in forestry, switched to geology, and two years later ran into a mineralogy/petrology wall that forced me to switch fields. I was quite happy in medical transcription for 25 years and retired in 2014. The Internet gives me a chance to revisit my old science interests and I blog about them at FlightToWonder.com. I also think it's wonderful to write in a Sunny Garden!
