What's the meta on just finding a cheap, good AP? Thinking of the TP-Link Archers to reflash with OpenWRT.

Currently this part of the house is served by a powerline adapter with an integrated AP, but the line quality is garbage at 700KiB/s. Tried connecting it to a nearby switch (I do have a physical connection here) but I think it caused a routing loop and it didn't like that.

All the other sources of media are kinda going to hell and it's comfortable visiting instances since it has that old-internet vibe and tends to be a little less vapid.

Though I should get more reasons to post stuff here. Maybe when I get back into code projects outside of stuff tied to my direct personal self.

Also hello. I'm still working myself around the Fediverse as I just now made an account after having my real-life one for a bit. I probably won't delve too much into the person, or at least make an attempt to not be identified in most circumstances, but I'll probably talk about stuff I'm thinking about and projects that I don't wanna show on the real-life one. Specifically if it pertains to furry-stuff.

I'm Carlen and I also have an alternative personality as Carla—same creature, different gender—with the both of them mostly relegated to the online space. I'm typically Carla in VRChat or on specific services as she's more sexually charged and vested in the weird. Not to say Carlen isn't either, just somewhat restrained.

Perhaps sounds a bit convoluted, but that's how it is in my head.

However I am trying to open up a bit more. I even have a few cons I'm going to in August so watch for me at Denfur and Indy Fur Con.
